Welcome to Repost!
Our mission is to help artists and label owners make a living through their audiences online so naturally we are in the business of making sure you get paid for your hard work! Here’s a little bit more information about how payments work through Repost and how to best utilize the platform to maximize your earnings.
When do I get paid?
Earnings data and payments are updated and delivered on the last calendar day of each month and are two months delayed. This is a term called Net60. That means earnings generated in for example January, would be updated and paid out at the end of March and so on.
This system is in place because it generally takes music platforms (SoundCloud, YouTube, Spotify, etc.) 30-45 days to pay Repost out royalties and then a little bit of time for us to turn that around to our partners. We also like to factor in a small window of time incase a given platform is late on payments to best manage artist expectations.
How do I get paid?
Repost auto-pays its partners on the last calendar day of the month to the paypal email you have on site with us. There is no way to “cash out.” If you need to change or review the payment email you have with us onsite you can log into your dashboard, go to the payments tab, input your new email in the “payment paypal email address” and select update.
Additionally, Repost has a minimum $100 USD threshold. So if your earnings in a given month is less than $100 USD it will roll over into the next month until you do.
How to make the most money with Repost
Repost offers a complete suite of tools besides SoundCloud monetization including YouTube contentID and distribution to Spotify, iTunes, and several other online stores. If you are using Repost for all of the above earnings from each stream will be counted towards the minimum $100 USD threshold! Use us for more and you will increase your likelihood of getting paid out!
