What is Canvas?
“Canvas” is a relatively new tool given to Spotify artists that allows them to add an accompanying visual to their released track. This visual is seen as a gif-like, 8 second looped video that appears as the cover art of a song on your Spotify mobile application.

Who Can Use Canvas?
Spotify’s Canvas is currently in its beta phase, meaning only a limited number of artists have the ability to upload music with this feature. However Canvas is expected to eventually roll out to everyone with a Spotify for Artists account sometime in the future.
Some participating distributors are now able to submit artists to be considered for beta access to the new Canvas feature within Spotify. Repost Network may be able to help you! Please keep in mind that no submission is guaranteed to be approved, and final selections from Spotify will be determined by criteria including monthly listener counts and time of submissions (earlier submissions prioritized). If selected, the artist will be notified and given further instructions on how to create a Canvas asset for their release. That respective artist will also have access to use the Spotify Canvas feature for future releases as well.
