How To Switch To Repost Network From Another Distributor

First, you’ll want to upload your releases through your Repost Network Dashboard. We suggest waiting until your release is live through Repost Network before requesting takedowns from your previous distributor. You will need to contact your current distributor and request that they take your content down from stores. The wait time for some can be up to two weeks. Unfortunately, there is currently no way to avoid this momentary lapse in content availability during the transfer of distribution since each store has its own review process.

To retain your play counts and stats for rereleases, the following must happen when you submit music to Repost Network:

- All visible metadata must be a 1:1 match across both releases. This includes track titles, album titles, ISRCs, label fields, etc.

- The audio must be the same.

- The track must be delivered to Spotify with 5 days lead time to allow their systems to recognize the duplicative content, and map over the play counts.
