The best way for you to get the most out of Spotify is to Verify Your Artist Account.

As an artist, a verified account can make a huge difference in your ability to build an audience on the platform. In the last few years, there have been a lot of conversation around the effectiveness of Spotify in actually being able to help new artists generate a career out of their music. Labels say “Yes!”, Publishers say “No!” Despite what issues may have come up on either side, there is one thing that is abundantly clear: Spotify has become the most powerful and the most legitimate network in the music industry for any artist to distribute their music. And as we’ve said numerous time before: Go where your audience is!

That being said, this simple pointer can drastically help to grow your daily listener count as well build your followers on Spotify, but the only way you’ll be able to do that is by first Verifying your Account. Once your Account is verified and activated, you can start to build a community of fans who want to discover music THROUGH you. Each time you make a playlist or share a song, they’ll hear it. Additionally, once verified, your account will be linked to your discography pages, making them easily searchable within the service. Remember, “followers” are essentially users who can reach you directly whenever you have new music out. You are creating a valuable direct-to-fan channel within Spotify, and THAT is how you get the most out of Spotify.
